Pelosi: The Face That Stopped 1,000 Clocks

When you think of congressional ineptitude, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Democrats? Republicans? All of the above? For my money, it comes down to a simple name (and a simple woman): Nancy Pelosi.
Don’t be surprised. This broad has done nothing – well, less than nothing – since taking over as Speaker-ette of the House, and if the “buck” stops at the Oval Office, then surely the bull stops at the Speaker’s Lair.
Pelosi’s shenanigans this week were typically childish, and that made her ripe for the snark. She is my subject for this week’s Family Security Matters article. Here’s a sample:
It’s been a very difficult week for Nancy Pelosi. Her fellow representatives, the media, and the American public have hammered the Democrat Speaker of the House on all sides for everything from mortgage bailouts to the skyrocketing energy prices. Normally, a career politician would suffer significant damage from these constant barrages.
Luckily for the Scourge of the Proletariat, those BOTOX injections keep her visage impervious to the slings and arrows of her detractors, and could deflect an explosive round (as well as a clock) from 200 yards away.
Only the shrewdest public servants could navigate these treacherous waters. It would take an Oscar Award-winning performance from a woman who can change her appearance (and demeanor) on a moment’s notice. Nancy Pelosi is not that woman, but that doesn’t mean she won’t give it the old college try.

But I thought she was the Smartest Woman In The World. Who could forget the love-feast the MSM served when she became Speaker of the House?

I love her line about “Saving the Planet,” How did this nut job ever get elected?

Deanna – But Nancy doesn’t have an entertaining personality.
Vicky – She’s already a loser. It’s just that no one has told her yet.
Ky person – They passed a law raising the minimum wage in their first 100 days. After that? Not much.
