Hockey Night In Philadelphia
By Wyatt Earp | June 22, 2008
Good Lord, it will be nice to get back out onto the ice.
Our last scheduled game was on Father’s Day – yeah, good idea, Schedule Guy! – and we had to forfeit because most of us had family things to do. Of course, I spent the day with my criminal family at the detective division. Dang.
Any hoo, I’ll be lacing them up in two hours in an effort to burn off some more calories. It’ll also relax me for tomorrow’s radio interview. (No, I’m not as nervous as last time, but I still have butterflies.) Since I’m a huge star now, I will be auctioning off my game towel to the highest bidder. All proceeds will be going to my favorite charity . . . me.
(Oh, and for the uninitiated, the photo is Finland hockey goddess Emma Laaksonen – Vinnie’s favorite hottie. I post her photo before every game for good luck.)

I bet it is, that and Randal’s motivational speeches.
“auctioning off my game towel”
That is one way to fund the after ice activities. Good luck.

So who won????????

USA Admiral – Yeah, but still no bids. Dang.
MMP – Here’s the best part: WE DIDN’T PLAY!!! The only guys who showed up for the game were me, Vinnie, Badger, John, and Todd. We were one skater short and had to forfeit. Five guys show out of a 15-man roster. Pretty weak, fellas!

So what did you guys do? Stay at the rink and compare twirls?

MMP – As a matter of fact, yes! And Vinnie won easily. Actually, we hit the bar and downed a few pints.
